Bucci Now Offering IEMCA Automata 2.5, 5.0 and 10March 1, 2012
The IEMCA Automata is a gantry loader system designed and built for automatic loading, unloading and storing blanks and finished components close to the machine tool. The Automata is designed to increase the productivity and efficiency of lathes, grinding machines, rolling machines and machining centers.
"The system features PLC controlled axes, flexibility and simplicity due to design features and IEMCA's advanced technology," said a company spokesperson. "The system allows for a fast and easy installation. The installation is independent of the machine tool, and access to all doors of the machine is available at all times. This guarantees maximum machining quality and eliminates the transmission of vibration to and from the machine tool." The Automata is now available in three models: 2.5, 5.0 and 10 for handling parts 2.5-10 kilos (6-24 lbs).
"Our commitment to offer flexible and advanced technology to our customers is our primary goal at Bucci Industries," said Paolo Raspanti, Executive Vice President. "With Automata we truly believe we have achieved the customers' satisfaction, which is the driving engine of our company's mission."
"A high level of user-friendly functionality is an advantage of the Automata Gantry Loader System," the spokesperson said. "It is simple and intuitive to operate and offers connectivity to MPI and LAN networks for remote diagnostics, IEMCA software updating and programming.
"Automata offers the following features:
- The use of high-capacity magazines (palletizer or stacker) allows working with unsupervised lathes and one operator to manage a large number of machine tools, with idle time reduction.
- Retooling and program change is designed to be fast and easy, which can be advantageous for low production runs. Its design allows installation with new or existing equipment. Automata can easily be moved from one machine to another quickly and with minimum investment.
- Its structural design is based on accurate finite element analysis for rigidity."
