New Low-Profile Conveyor Stand from Conveyor Technologies

Conveyor Technologies' new Advanced Aluminum Conveyor Stand introduces wide-stance leveling pads for increased stability, along with a user-friendly mounting arrangement that allows leveling adjustment with pads bolted to the floor, the company said. The new design uses a leveling pad assembly mounted external to the stand leg rather than a bolt threaded into the leg. This permits visual confirmation of the remaining adjustment thread and allows the leveling-pad assembly to be removed from the leg and replaced, without lifting the stand.

The leveling pads conform to uneven floors for optimum stability, while a wrench stabilizer on the threaded shank allows easy adjustment. The new design-leveling pad utilizes a threaded shank that prevents socket pullout while retaining full swivel capability for the pad. The pad design also allows drilling for, and insertion of, anchor bolts without moving the stand.

Conveyor Technologies standard "Drop in" stand mounts allow rapid installation and removal of the conveyor on the stand. Held in place by preset position stops, the mounts can easily be lowered on either side to create a gap for rapid belt replacement.

Engineered for flexible, high-uptime production, Conveyor Technologies' low-profile conveyors are suitable for automation of work cells, packaging machines, automation, assembly and similar operations, the company said. A broad selection of modular low-profile conveyor designs enables close application tailoring at standard unit economies. Line choices include end-drive, center-drive, cleated, magnetic, Modular Plastic Belt, vacuum, high-temperature, high-speed, self tracking, AccuMove precision indexing, FlexLoc, AccuVision (back-lit) and Multi-Flex variable shape conveyors.
