Kwikmark Tag Master 3 Magazine Tag Transfer FeederMarch 1, 2012
The Kwikmark magazine tag transfer feeder was developed to eliminate the problematic tag feeding issues of escaping tags from the bottom of a magazine, the company said. Available with Print Queue Driver, it is designed to allow multiple users to download job menus, variables, quantities, etc. It is also designed to work well for unusually shaped tags and parts.
"A vertical magazine 'lifts' tags to the top, and there are no escapements or 'coin change' mechanism to jam," said a company spokesperson. "It accommodates tags with coarse cut/bent edges, thickness variations and is not affected by the weight of the stack (or near empty/full magazine). The transfer system requires no track width guides or adjustments. The Kwikmark is designed to be great for thin tags; no 'push' type escapement required. There is no scratching of pre-printed tags from sharp/rough edges. There is a solid steel support block at the marking station. The Kwikmark permits faster changeover if using tags of different size and thickness. No changeover tooling is required. There is a clear, open line of sight of all work and transfer areas, and the machine is easy to expand into other processes such as sorting, re-stacking, etc."
Machines are network and RS-232 connectable and are easily removable from system.
Display includes batch counter, cycle timer, percent of completion, current status and production history log.
