Fischer Technology Introduces DUALSCOPE FMP100 and DataCenter IPMarch 1, 2012
Fischer Technology's DUALSCOPE FMP100 coating thickness measurement instrument is designed to harmonize the flexibility and capabilities of PC-based lab instruments with the manageability of compact portable units. The unit has Windows CE operating system with a graphical user interface and a user definable file and folder structure. The bright LC touchscreen display simplifies settings, measurements and data evaluations. It offers numerous configuration options for a clear presentation of results and the drag and drop feature enables the user to create application specific interfaces. The FMP100 and the various F-Probes are designed to form an integral measurement system with precise repeatability, the company said.
"When used in combination with the optionally available inspection plan management software, FISCHER DataCenter IP, the FMP100 turns into a powerful multi-functional data terminal, opening up a whole new dimension in metrology," said a company spokesperson. "Individually created inspection plans are enhanced through visually supported user guidance. Create the inspection plan on the PC per your own specifications and template. Load the plan into the FMP100 and the user follows your exact plan for taking readings on named areas. You can even load drawings or photos of the item to be measured with markings of the area to be measured. This task-specific information ensures the accurate and correct acquisition of complex data, even by non-technical users. Handwritten readings on your inspection reports are no longer needed thus reducing costs while maintaining quality control."
