VISIONx Inc. has introduced the 300 Series VisionGauge Digital Optical Comparator (patents pending).

The 300 Series VisionGauge Digital Optical Comparators are designed to be cost effective desktop systems that are suitable for smaller parts, the company said. They have an extended depth of field for tall parts and a long working distance that provides ample clearance and room to work between the part and the lens.

The 300 Series are desktop instruments that have all of the functionality of the 500 Series VisionGauge Digital Optical Comparator including:

• CAD auto align and CAD auto pass/fail tools.
• Works directly with CAD data (no overlay required).
• Automatic image and data collection.
• Built-in SPC capability.
• No moving or consumable parts.

The 300 Series VisionGauge Digital Optical Comparator is a Windows-based solution that is delivered network ready, easy to setup and includes installation and training, the company said.
