MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc. will showcase its range of cost-reducing, productivity-enhancing solutions at WESTEC, the company said. In addition to its full line of metalworking products, MSC Tech Team and Solution Specialists will be on-hand to provide application expertise and demonstrate the company's new inventory management solutions.

Visitors to the MSC booth will have the opportunity to see MSC's range of metalworking products, including those from brands like Accupro, Hertel and SPI. Throughout the show, MSC's Metalworking Tech Team, which consists of machinists who have more than 300 years of combined metalworking experience, will be on-hand to discuss application challenges and recommend solutions. MSC's Tech Team members offer a range of knowledge, including process optimization; grade selections, speeds and feeds; how-to problem solving; trouble shooting application problems; problem crossover; complete cost-savings analysis and more.
In addition to its metalworking products, MSC Solution Specialists will demonstrate new customizable inventory management systems that are designed to reduce costs, increase productivity and improve bottom lines. These solutions begin with MSC supply chain experts working closely with a customer on a business needs analysis to determine the best vending solution for the customer's operations, which might include a tool management tower with inventory management software, a point-of-use vending unit or a specialized capacity vending system.
Once a vending solution is chosen, MSC installs the equipment and trains the company's operators and managers on how to use the equipment and maximize its full potential. Finally, once the vending solution is up and running, customers can expect ongoing monitoring and support from a highly dedicated, highly experienced MSC vending team, the company said.
