Yama Seiki AWEA has announced its annual return to WESTEC 2012, where the company will showcase its latest and optimized machines and will present full demonstrations of its machining process.

"The event will come packed with a variety of machines, each displaying its own unique design and potential," said a company spokesperson. "Within that variety, Yama Seiki AWEA is set to showcase its machine, the BM1200. The BM1200 is not just created for maximum performance, but also for increased efficiency and long-lasting endurance."

The BM1200 offers a 47.2" X-axis travel and 23.6" Y-axis travel and is designed to withstand up to a capacity load of 2,640 lbs. It is supported with a FANUC control and a 30-tool swim arm tool changer. Geared with a 6,000 RPM 50-taper spindle speed, the machine is suited to handle tough tasks with precision, speed and strength, the company said.

Attendees can view demonstrations of the machine in the booth of TMG, Ltd., also known as The Machine Group.

TMG is also one of Yama Seiki's exclusive dealers. "Yama Seiki has always been supportive in getting us what we need and they have a strong product line," said a TMG spokesperson. "We have a strong working relationship in solving customers' machine tool needs."

Representatives from Yama Seiki and TMG will both be present on the show floor to answer any questions any attendees may have.
