PML-PAL has introduced a new air feed device (AFD) for high-precision pneumatic chuck. This device is suitable for 4th and 5th axis (rotary tables) on a machining center. The device is designed to address the lack of room behind the axis and the machine frame. The device dimensions are 85 mm dia. by 1" width. This device is compared to the traditional air feed tube with length of 3" to 4.5". It is able to rotate at up to 180 RPM. It is mounted on the back side of the rotary table with two airways pointing to the side as shown in the photo.
