Type 01Plus is a new drill head geometry for the replaceable head drill TTD. It is designed to provide longer tool life and increased performance in steel and cast iron applications.

The 3-chamfer geometry is designed to provide smooth running in the bore for longer tool life. According to the company, feed forces can be reduced up to 50 percent, resulting in increased performance and shortened machining times.

The TTD Type 01Plus features improved centering capability and chip evacuation is enhanced as a result of improved facet geometry.
