AmTTech has received the Doosan Infracore "Bicentennial Award" for its outstanding 2011 efforts in selling over 275 machines; AmTTech also received the "Presidential Award" for attaining the highest sales dollars during the same period. The awards were presented at the company's recent dealer sales meeting.
Accepting the awards for AmTTech was Mr. Jack Butts, President, and Anne Beauregard, VP/CFO. On hand to present the awards were Mr. JY Lee, Doosan Infracore America President/CEO; John Crean, Doosan National Sales Manager; and Marc Muniz, Doosan Regional Sales Manager.
AmTTech opened its doors in 1991 in Houston, TX, as an exclusive distributor representing Doosan to manufacturers in southern Texas. In mid-2000 AmTTech opened a second office in Arlington (between Dallas and Ft. Worth) and expanded its sales and service territory to most of Texas. "Since then AmTTech has grown to become a top performing, award-winning distributor year after year," said a Doosan spokesperson. AmTTech's state-of-the-art 32,000 sq. ft. facility also serves as Doosan's Southern Technical Center with ample floor space to house turning centers, machining centers, boring mills and multi-task machines.
