Triag Modular Workholding SystemsApril 1, 2012
Triag workholding systems are designed to combine the characteristics and performance of a dedicated fixture in a modular platform. The systems use compact clamp, power clamp and microclamp technology to hold from mid-size to very small parts in high densities while allowing easy part change for fast retooling, the company said.
"Breakthrough clamping designs minimize interference so machine spindles have full access to workpieces, even in high-density applications," said a company spokesperson. "Access is even better for 5-axis machines using Triag's 5-axis CLAMP.
"Triag lightweight epoxy mineral tombstones have characteristics similar to cast iron but that are as light as aluminum. The tombstones are also compact, rigid and economical."
