Amada has introduced the new HD NT Series Press Brake, which is designed to be an ultra-high precision, down-acting system featuring advanced hydraulics that provide high positioning accuracy, the company said.

"The HD NT Series features independent AC-servo motors, which drive high-efficiency, bi-directional hydraulic pumps," said an Amada spokesperson. "The series has been designed to feature fast approach, bending and turning speeds, providing faster cycle times and resulting in more parts per hour. Programmable ram tilting and 50% off-center bending capacity allows for quick set-up of multiple stage part bending. Hydraulic pump motors are only on when the ram is moving, resulting in low power consumption. Stable hydraulic oil temperature can ensure consistent angular accuracy, and the HD NT Series is designed to use less hydraulic oil and to require fewer oil changes."
