Mazak Optonics has introduced the OPTIPLEX 3015 2D laser cutting system, a flexible two-pallet changer that is designed to provide high throughput, AO/5 automated setup technologies and rugged construction, the company said.

"By combining integrated intelligent automation and cutting speeds, this job shop laser accurately processes material thicknesses from the thinnest of steel to 1 inch mild steel," said a company spokesperson. "Other advantages include a new user-friendly PreView II touch screen control and new 4,000-watt type 10 resonator that can lower operating costs."
