OMAX Corporation offers precision engineered, computer-controlled abrasive waterjet systems. The OMAX JetMachining Centers and MAXIEM JetCutting Centers provide a cold cutting process suited for industries requiring large fabrication production runs to smaller, prototype or customized job runs. Recently added features to the OMAX and MAXIEM product lines include:

• OMAX and MAXIEM DualBRIDGE Systems: An option for select large-scale waterjets to increase machine capacity with two Y-bridges and up to four abrasive cutting heads. An operator can program the independent cutting heads to produce smaller parts or work in tandem to cut one large part. With this configuration, shops can also boost utilization rates since cutting can be performed while materials are loaded and unloaded from the machine.
• OMAX and MAXIEM Drill Head accessories: Designed specifically for the waterjet environment, the OMAX-engineered Drill Head is designed to permit reliable and repeatable piercing of brittle and sensitive materials prior to abrasive waterjet cutting. With the Intelli-MAX control software, the accessory accurately pierces small diameter holes in thick material without separate programming, speeding up production time by eliminating tedious hand drilling with customized registration templates, the company said.
• OMAX and MAXIEM Variable Speed Solids Removal System (VS-SRS): A programmable variable speed system with the precise ability to control garnet evacuation rate, direction and duration of efficiently removing abrasive garnet from the waterjet's catcher tank. The VS-SRS is designed to be an economical way to clean the waterjet's catcher tank with minimal time loss, the company said.
• OMAX and MAXIEM A-Jet: A patent pending, software-controlled, multi-axis accessory capable of articulating the jetstream to cut severe angles up to 60-degrees off vertical. The A-Jet permits operators the ability to fabricate countersunk holes, puzzle pieces and weld-ready beveled edges. The A-Jet features a fixed focal point design where the XYZ axes do not need to move as the cutting head tilts.
• OMAX Mobile JetMachining Center: A durable, reliable system specifically designed for regularly transporting OMAX equipment on a platform configuration, the company said. It is a suitable cutting tool for oil field maintenance, shipbuilding, military, commercial business sectors and other mobile applications.
• OMAX EnduroMAX Pump Series: The EnduroMAX is designed to be a reliable and robust waterjet pump operating at 60,000 PSI, the company said. By utilizing an EnduroMAX Pump, waterjet machine uptime is maximized with the 1,000-hour operating range between pump rebuilds, said OMAX.
