Radyne Introduces VersaPower Xtreme Induction Power SuppliesApril 1, 2012
Radyne Corporation, an Inductotherm Group Company, has unveiled the new VersaPower Xtreme induction power supplies. The concept system is based on Radyne's new Digital iQ control technology and is designed to allow ease of use, advanced communication, control and programming features previously unseen in induction power supplies, the company said.
The VersaPower Xtreme power supply complements Radyne's existing VersaPower induction power supply line providing a premium model for the customer who needs its features, design and speed, the company said. The System's Digital iQ control technology is 100% digital and provides responsiveness of 0-100% of rated power in under 500 microseconds.
The first release in the lineup is the 5, 10, 25 and 50 kW units with a frequency range of 100-400 kHz. Following this will come the 250-750 Hz, 20-60 kHz and 50-200 kHz lines. All power sources have been designed and built in the USA.
