Arc-Zone.com has announced the expansion of its corporate headquarters to accommodate an increase in sales and new retail and education facilities, the company said. The expansion doubles the size of the company's corporate headquarters, which houses administrative, customer service, warehouse and order fulfillment functions.

"Fueled by the best sales in the company's 13-year history in 2011 and an even stronger start to 2012, the new space will be immediately put to use for increased inventory of the ecommerce welding accessory store's growing list of more than 10,000 products," said a company spokesperson. "On-hand inventory is essential to servicing an international customer base that often needs welding supplies immediately.

"Also included in the expansion are a planned retail store and a separate educational space dubbed The Ultimate Weld Shop. The retail store is scheduled to open summer 2012. The Ultimate Weld Shop, a hands-on space outfitted with the latest welding technologies, will serve as a technology showcase and educational space for customers, students and vendors."
