IMS Software, Inc. and the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) at Wichita State University have formed an educational partnership to provide CNC postprocessor development training using IMSpost. Students will learn to develop sophisticated postprocessor solutions which link a variety of CAD/CAM systems to CNC machines with advanced features including 5-axis milling and multi-axis mill-turn capabilities.

"Our goal is to train students to utilize the latest software available to industry," said Brian Brown, Associate Director of the CAD/CAM Lab at NIAR. "Partnerships with organizations like IMS Software allow us to accomplish this and give students taking courses at Wichita State University and NIAR the skills necessary to be an asset to the workforce."
