The design of the machine was accomplished in close collaboration with EWI Senior Project Manager Mark Norfolk and his team at EWI.
Kimberly Gibson, Director, EWI Energy Center, said, "The technology developed in conjunction with Ultra Tech Machinery has the potential to revolutionize the material additive industry. We were thrilled to receive vital state funding that allowed us to move forward on this important project and contract with an innovative company like Ultra Tech Machinery."
Norfolk said, "We are already selling this technology to manufacturing customers, and if things go as planned, we hope to be ordering additional machines from Ultra Tech in the near future."
