A variety of Mighty Viper machines are now available. These include the PBM-135 CNC horizontal boring and milling machine, the DBC bridge mill and the MVH series horizontal milling machine.
The Mighty Viper PBM-135 is a precision CNC horizontal boring and milling machine with a built-in heavy-duty rotary table. The PBM-Series is designed to provide precision movement, position and accuracy with improved cutting capability.
The PBM has over-sized box ways with Quadrupled-Delta construction for greater stability during cutting. Wide base and column structure help provide structural rigidity and dampening capability. The rigid spindle has a 5.11" diameter and a W-axis that provides 28" of horizontal travel. The W-axis has two linear ways for greater accuracy during horizontal movement that automatically compensates for mechanical sagging on the quill.
The gear driven spindle has a 4-step speed change and provides a maximum torque output up to 4,817 ft-lbs and 50 HP at 2,500 RPM. A variety of spindle heads are available, including universal head, 90° head, 90° extension head and quill support. Rotary table positioning and repeatability accuracy is 10 arc seconds. Duplex gear transmission provides even movement, yielding zero back-lash table rotation. The table surface can accommodate up to 63" x 71.87" with a maximum table load of 29,000 lbs.

The Mighty Viper DBC employs a solid design featuring structural stability, axial accuracy, independent lubrication system and precision linear guide ways."
The third addition to the Mighty Viper product line is the new MVH series horizontal milling machine. The MVH has a solid structural design for improved dampening of vibration and flex resistance. Full support on all three axes provides rigidity. Boring co-axial has an accuracy of 0.0004". Position feedback on 3 axes is controlled by an absolute encoder with smooth linear roller ways on XYZ axes and 10-second servo driven automatic pallet changer mechanism. A wide T-shape base is useful for heavy-duty machining. Large workpieces can be handled by the two-step X-axis configuration that enables heavy load capacity. Table load handles up to a 3,306 lbs maximum, a pallet working surface up to 32" x 32" and a maximum machining range of 39" x 39". A coolant shower system on splash guard ceiling prevents build-up of chips in the cutting area.
