Multi-Task System Adds Functionality

IAC Industries' Multi-Task System I and II (MTS-I and MTS-II) are designed to add storage and utility to workbenches. "This three- or two-post upright system applies general concepts of lean manufacturing, whether through 5S, Six Sigma or Kaizen," said a company spokesperson. "Both systems are cost effective and improve overall production through the use of ergonomically designed storage, shelving, swing arms and other various accessories. IAC's Multi-Task Systems work with existing or new work surfaces, are easily installed, easily retrofitted and immediately increase efficiencies."

The MTS systems feature heavy gauge vertical posts with a tie beam at the top of frame for increased support. The MTS-I, a three-post system, provides two evenly divided side-by-side accessory mounting areas. The MTS-II, a two-post system, allows for accessories that span the entire work surface length. The MTS slots along the post are in 1" increments for leveling all accessory options and can be aligned or independently adjusted for enhanced flexibility. Accessories include various shelving configurations, part cup rails, bin rails, electrical channels, cabinets and isolation screens.

The MTS frame features a powder coat finish and comes in various color options. The MTS is frame or surface mounted, allowing the system to move in tandem with any adjustable height work surfaces and keeping all accessories in their same relative positions.

Accessories include monitor and keyboard swing arms, CRT swing arms, flat panel displays, bin holders, tool caddies, document holder and more. Accessory options also include lighting, tool trolleys and air system connections.
