Milling and Turning Machines Designed for Value and Productivity

SMTCL-Americas offers the BRIO BM850T milling machine and the BRIO Turner 5.

The BRIO BM850T vertical machining center (VMC) features XYZ travels of 31" x 19" x 20" and an 8,000 RPM spindle. The machine comes with the power Siemens 808D control which, according to the company, is easy to program, has a conversational mode and offers enhanced reliability. It comes standard with a remote pulse generator and USB input for loading programs. The machine also comes with a chip auger, coolant tank, automatic tool changer and a two-year part warranty.

"We developed this machine for educational users and for start-up businesses, but we are seeing this machine purchased by several large companies as it can competitively make accurate parts for a low investment cost," said Jerry McCarty, SMTCL's Chief Operating Officer.

The BRIO Turner 4 is an 8" Chuck Horizontal Turning Center with 6-position tool turret and 16.5" swing over the bed. The machine comes equipped with the Siemens 808d conversational control, a 3-jaw hydraulic chuck and hydraulic tailstock.
