Murata Appoints Laser Applications Engineer

Andrew Wildman

Murata Machinery USA, Inc. introduces Andrew Wildman as a Laser Applications Engineer, based out of its U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, NC.

With 26 years of experience, Wildman is not a newcomer to working with lasers. For 17 of these years, he gained experience as a field service engineer supporting a variety of machines, including CO2 flat sheet cutters. For the past several years, he has worked in the gas turbine industry with laser cladders and fusion welders using IPG Fiber Lasers.

"I have always been fascinated with the speed and precision of the technology used in laser cutting. When given the opportunity to work with Murata and its fiber laser, I just knew I wanted to be a part of the team," said Wildman.

"Andrew's experience in the industry and with lasers makes him a great fit for Murata, as well. Exceeding our customer's expectations is our goal, and Andrew brings a wealth of experience that will prove invaluable to our customers," said Jeff Kalmbach, General Manager, Machine Tool Division.

Wildman is based out of Murata Machinery's U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, NC, and will support customers across the Fabrication Business Unit's North American territory.
