GlenGuard's 5.3 oz FR fabric, which is currently being featured in coveralls, shirts and pants, is a light solution-dyed FR fabric with a CAT 2 protection rating.
GlenGuard's 5.3 oz offers workers a lighter weight alternative. Now CAT 2 protection is achievable in a comfortable 5.3 oz/yd2 while protecting the wearer with minimal risk for second or third degree burns. GlenGuard's lightweight material, with Wickzz moisture management technology, has an arc thermal performance value (ATPV) of 9.5 cal/cm2, and is UL certified to NFPA 2112.
