Sodick Announces Construction of New U.S. Headquarters

Machine tool manufacturer Sodick Inc. and its partners, the City of Schaumburg, Northern Builders and Harris Architects, have announced the construction of a new U.S. corporate headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The new 40,000 sq. ft. facility is to be constructed on a 5 acre lot located at the intersection of Commerce Dr. and Basswood Rd., across from I-90, and is scheduled for completion in July 2017.
The new corporate headquarters will nearly double the size of Sodick's existing facility and will include an additional loading dock to better accommodate Sodick's increased sales volume. Additionally, the new facility will feature an expanded EDM showroom, engineering bay, as well as a dedicated additive manufacturing technology center to house Sodick's "OPM" line of metal 3-D printers.
