Full Line of Hose and Couplings Solutions to be Exhibited at IFPE 2017

Kurt Hydraulics will exhibit a full line of American made couplings available in hundreds of end style and configurations designed to meet fluid power equipment demands and to meet or exceed SAE DIN requirements. Included in the Kurt full line is a range of braided hose, spiral hose, Teflon hose, thermoplastic hose and hose guard products.

Kurt will be demonstrating the new Kurt exclusive "two hose styles plus one couplings style" that handles common hydraulic application pressure ranges from 3,000 to 6,500 PSI. This product offering includes Kurt Tuff hose, Kurt E-Z Bend Hose and Kurt W-Style couplings. "OEMs and distributors have expressed the importance of streamlined inventory of hydraulic components for lean manufacturing. Kurt's solution requires less-inventory to be maintained when compared to any other industry hose and coupling offering," said a company spokesperson.

Reinforced internally with four spiral layers of high tensile steel wire braid, Kurt Tuff Spiral Flex hose has a durable oil, ozone and abrasion resistant synthetic outer cover. "It has 10 times the abrasion resistance compared to standard hose cover," said the spokesperson. Impulse tested for up to 1,000,000 cycles, Kurt Tuff Spiral Flex hose can withstand temperatures from -40 °F up to 250 °F and meets flame resistant MSHA designation. It meets or exceeds requirements of SAE DIN 20023.

For tight applications and downsized equipment, E-Z Bend Hose has half the bend radius of standard hose for easier routing and more space savings. Providing both increased flexibility and strength, E-Z Bend hose is designed for mobile hydraulic, compact applications requiring hydraulic hose with tight bend radius using minimal installation force. With a working hose pressure range from 5,000 PSI to 6,000 PSI, E-Z Bend has a working temperature range of -40 °F to 212 °F and meets flame resistant MSHA designation.

Kurt Hydraulics full line of W-Style couplings is compatible with Kurt's low pressure braided hose and high-pressure spiral hose. "Handling more applications and requiring less inventory, Kurt W-Style Couplings are designed for non-skive high pressure spiral hose (6,000 PSI) and all wire braided hose applications," said the spokesperson. These couplings are available in 742 different end types.
