Automatic Bar Loaders, Feeders and Rotary Tables at PMTS

CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies will have a wide range of magazine bar feeders, short bar loaders, an automatic gantry loader and rotary tables at PMTS 2017, taking place April 25-27 in Columbus, OH.

The TRACER Minibar Hydrodynamic Magazine Bar Feeder, which is able to feed bar diameters from 0.8 mm to 12 mm and up to 10' in length, is suitable for customers with fixed headstock and Swiss-type CNC lathes that need to feed large quantities of small bar stock for quantifiable production runs. Variable bar stock sizes can be adjusted quickly without the operator having to use any tools. It is built to allow for fast changes of guide channel sets to increase throughput and minimize changeover and set-up times. "Torque force and speed is easily adjustable so operators can feed smaller stock consistently without any issues. This is an important feature that all TRACER series bar feeders provide," said a company spokesperson.

Steve Smith, President of CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies, said, "The TRACER Minibar is designed to give Swiss lathe users the ability to feed bar stock smaller than 13 mm in diameter at an economical price. We are excited to be showing this along with many other bar handling products and rotary tables at PMTS."
