The Haas Factory Outlets (HFO) of Morris Group, Inc. earned several prestigious awards at Haas Automation, Inc.'s Annual Distributor Award Banquet, recently held in Westlake Village, CA. The event recognized Haas Factory Outlets across the globe for achievements made during the 2016 calendar year. Bob Murray, General Manager of Haas Automation, Inc. presented a total of seven awards to the five individual Haas Factory Outlets of Morris Group, Inc.
Haas Service Distributor of the Year was awarded to Haas Factory Outlet - A Division of Machine Tools, LLC, serving manufacturers in Louisiana and Mississippi. The award recognizes the HFO delivering the highest level of service and parts support for the year. Accepting the award was Clayton Phillips, Service Manager. HFO - A Division of Machine Tools, LLC also received a Haas Bronze Club Award.
The Gary Sladek HTEC Champion Award was presented to HFO - A Division of Trident Machine Tools, serving the manufacturing community of New England. The award recognizes the HFO with the best CNC sales performance and support to schools/institutions. The award was established in 2013 in memory of Gary Sladek, former co-owner of HFO Anaheim, who was passionate about the Haas Technical Education Network and its mission to support institutions educating the next generation of machinists. Accepting the award was Jeff Boulden, General Manager of HFO - A Division of Trident Machine Tools. HFO - A Division of Trident Machine Tools also received a Haas Platinum Club Award, for sales in access of $20 million.
The Haas President's Award was presented to HFO - A Division of Midwest Manufacturing Resources, Inc. This was the HFO's third President's Award, which recognizes CNC sales in excess of $40 million. Accepting the award was Dave Tucker, President of HFO-Midwest.
Receiving Haas Gold Club Awards were both HFO - A Division of Midwest Machinery Resources, serving Northern Illinois and Indiana, and HFO - A Division of Morris Florida, serving Florida and the Caribbean. The Haas Gold Club Award recognizes HFOs with CNC sales over $10 million.
