Bahmueller Technologies has announced its new sales and service team.

Vice President Gerd Staadt, who joined the company in 2016, has been responsible for restructuring and further developing the company's sales and service capabilities.

Staadt started his career in the machine tool industry in Germany and obtained his mechanical engineering degree. He has worked as a product engineer, product manager and in direct sales roles. He then obtained his Executive MBA and continued his career path as team manager sales and technology until he joined Bahmueller. "Listening to the voice of the customer in order to adapt our products and services to the current and future market needs is a key philosophy for our continued success," he said of his responsibility at Bahmueller.

William Cram, CMTSE, brings over 40 years of grinding and honing experience, including engineering and sales. Cram started his career as a journeyman apprentice, then moved into various positions within the machine tool design department and has been on the sales side since the early 90s, holding several positions that included manager of inside sales and regional sales manager. "William prides himself on being able to provide customers with technical support and knowledge to offer the best solution to meet their needs," said Staadt.

Bringing 35 years of grinding experience, Douglas Gaulin, CMTSE, has been named Key Account Manager. Gaulin began his career as a journeyman toolmaker and modelmaker for an optical and scientific instrument manufacturer located in Connecticut. This led to increasing responsibilities, including applications and process design, application management, sales and product manager positions for various OEM machine builders. He has supported various products including universal cylindrical grinders, jig as well as creep feed grinders with a focus on superabrasive machining systems used in the aerospace, automotive and medical manufacturing fields. He is a featured speaker and a senior member of the SME.

Robert "Chip" LaRue has joined the company as Service Manager. LaRue manages the overall direction and coordination of Bahmueller's Spare Parts and Service Department. Prior to this role, LaRue's experience included many years of supervisory and management responsibilities for engineering and maintenance departments for Tier 1 and 2 automotive suppliers. LaRue was also a field service technician for a grinding company. Taking into account LaRue's experience, along with his three skilled service technicians-Justin Smith, Jeff Fleming and Bruce Williams-Bahmueller's service department has more than 70 years of technical CNC manufacturing experience.

Terri Cram is responsible for marketing initiatives in North American, including trade shows, advertising and expanding the company's presence on social media. She is also supporting the efforts of the sales and service teams.

Currently, the new Bahmueller team of eight people has more than 160 years of combined experience in grinding machine sales and service.
