Science and Innovation in Grinding Systems

Novamatic 2G M 18-80

Meccanica Nova SpA will be exhibiting its high-productivity internal grinding machine model Novamatic 2G M 10/80 B CNC tooled for grinding multiple bores of a special automotive engine component in a single work part clamping with load/unload by an internally mounted FANUC robot.

The Novamatic line of I.D. grinders features flexible, agile, high production grinding machines and are available with various workholding packages and wheel dressing options for parts ranging from 5 mm - 420 mm. "Nova's grinding machines incorporate innovative design features that provide quick set-up and changeover with ease of maintenance while preserving a robust process for reduced cycle times and improved throughput," said a company spokesperson.
