Open Mind to Present CAM Demonstrations at Okuma Winter Showcase

Open Mind will demonstrate 5-axis surface machining CAD/CAM capabilities with its hyperMILL software to create a lion on the new Okuma Genos M460V-5X machine.

OPEN MIND Technologies will be participating in the annual Winter Showcase at the Partners in THINC and Okuma America Corporation headquarters located in Charlotte, NC, on November 28-29, 2018 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM each day. Registration opens at 8:30 AM and is free for the event.

OPEN MIND will have three hyperMILL CAD/CAM software demonstrations at the Winter Showcase, including creating a turn/mill part on an Okuma MULTUS B250II, an engine casing being produced with additive manufacturing on an Okuma MU-6300V LASER EX and a 5-axis surfacing part featuring a lion, to be machined on the new Okuma GENOS M460V-5AX machine.

"As a new member of Partners in THINC, we are excited to have the opportunity to be involved in this important technology event," said Alan Levine, Managing Director for OPEN MIND Technologies USA, Inc. "Attendees will be able to see the most advanced, integrated solutions available and learn how to make their operations more profitable and efficient."
