Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar Announced

The Extrusion Technology for Aluminum Profiles Foundation (ET Foundation) and the Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) have announced the dates and location for the Twelfth International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar and Exposition. Otherwise known as ET '20, the aluminum extrusion technical conference will be held Monday, May 19 through Friday, May 22, 2020, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando Hotel in Orlando, FL.

Having begun in 1969, the ET Seminar will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2019, and as such the ET Foundation and the AEC will be planning a special celebration during ET '20 to commemorate the occasion. A dedicated website address has been created for the event at www.ET20.org. Visitors, especially those residing and working in the European Union in light of new data protection and privacy regulations, can sign up at the ET '20 website to receive updates about program and registration details as they become available.

The ET Seminar, which is held once every four years, addresses a variety of relevant and timely topics covering aluminum profile production, die design and technology, metallurgy, equipment, product applications and more. "The four-day educational event attracts a worldwide audience of upwards of 1,500 industry professionals who will discover the latest technical information about aluminum extrusion and network with industry peers from all over the world," said a company spokesperson.

"The ET Seminar is where world-renowned aluminum extrusion experts present ideas, innovations and improvements in more than 100 top-quality technical presentations-most containing original research not published elsewhere," said the spokesperson.

In addition to providing a forum to present cutting-edge aluminum extrusion research, ET '20 will include the ET Expo, an exhibition featuring extrusion industry suppliers, and the ET Showcase, a special exhibit that highlights the best and brightest application designs featuring aluminum extrusions. Add-on workshops will be held before and after the event to provide a well-rounded learning and networking experience.
