August 31-September 4: Fastener Training Week Heads to Navy Pier, in Chicago
September 4, 2026The Fastener Training Institute (FTI), a nonprofit organization that provides beginning and advanced training on fastener products, standards and specifications, has announced its upcoming training program. The organization's core purpose is to enhance fastener use, reliability and safety with a mission to make industry professionals more knowledgeable about the fastening products they buy, sell, specify or use.
Slated for August 31 through September 4 in Chicago, IL, FTI's next Fastener Training Week will allow attendees to earn Certified Fastener Specialist designation after completion and passing a final exam.
At the most recent Fastener Training Week, students from across the United States - as well as students from India and Mexico – took part.
“The need for skilled professionals in the fastener industry spans the world,” said Jo Morris, Managing Director for The Fastener Training Institute. “With Chicago being the travel hub it is, this session is especially convenient for those attending from afar.”
Fastener Training Week in Chicago is at Sable at Navy Pier, as part of the Mid-West Fastener Association’s FSTNR Week. Students will have dedicated time to explore the tabletop show and connect with other fastener professionals. Registration is now open with discounted hotel rates available.
