Adept Machine Tools, Inc. will host an open house June 5-6 to formally promote its partnership with Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) and demonstrate the latest technology from Hyundai WIA, Miyano and Citizen.

Adept's two-day open house will feature at least eight machines under power at its Troutman, NC, facility. Live cutting demonstrations will include Hyundai WIA CNC lathes and vertical machining centers, Citizen CNC Swiss style machines, and Miyano CNC turning. Machine tool product specialists and accessory partners will be on-hand to provide technical expertise for specific customer applications.

Adept MT will also introduce its exclusive technology partnership with Michael Waltrip Racing, located in Cornelius, NC, during the open house. MWR recently acquired two Hyundai WIA F500 vertical machining centers to machine critical features on several race car components used by the team in both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series of NASCAR. VIP tours of MWR will be offered throughout the first day of the open house, with transportation to and from MWR in Cornelius, NC, provided. In addition, Michael Waltrip will make a guest appearance on Tuesday, June 5 at 11 AM for a "meet and greet" and will be available for autographs and book signings.

Lunch will be provided during both days of Adept's open house, where there will also be giveaways, including two VIP Michael Waltrip Race Experience Passes.
