Centerless Grinder, Sinker and Wire-Cut EDMs

Kent USA will feature a centerless grinder, sinker EDM and wire-cut EDMs at IMTS 2022.

KCG-18S Centerless Grinder

The KCG-18S centerless grinder is designed for production manufacturing. Features include:

• 0.04" to 2" diameter grinding capacity with standard work rest
• Grinding wheel size 18" x 8" x 9"
• Regulating wheel 10" x 8" x 4.38"
• 15 HP main grinding wheel motor
• Compact design for minimum use of shop floor space
• Easy to use controls for greater work efficiency
• Automatic lubrication with safety interlock to prevent machine operation when there is no lubrication present
• Hydraulic dresser for grinding and regulating wheels help ensure smooth and evenly trued wheels.

KEB-600L Sinker Type EDM

The KEB-600L is a CNC EDM with over 2,200 lbs. of workload.

Features include:

• 60 amp power supply capacity
• Fully ribbed solid casting for increased rigidity and stability
• Built-in 3-axis DRO system integrates with machine control for positioning and auto Z-depth setting in for simple programming
• Maximum 256 programmable steps for setting all machining parameters enables a complete start to finish auto-cycle for complex jobs
• MOSFET electric discharge circuit design is designed for fast burning, reduced electrode wear and uniform surface finish applications
• Precision linear ways with lubricated ball screws and AC servo motors on X-, Y- and Z-axis
• Single or 3-axis lateral movement, round orbiting, square orbiting, etc.
• Multicavity machining, Auto Home Function
• Side Loran function (X, Y-axis), Angle Vector machining function and ARC clockwise and ARC counter-clockwise function
• The module is mounted inside the spindle, which allows for greater Z-axis clearance
• With a C-axis accessory, the electrode can turn an arbitrary angle.

WSI-200 Wire-Cut Submerge Type EDM

The WSI-200 is especially suited for schools, aerospace and medical manufacturers and others due to its capabilities and compact size.

• 661 lbs. max. workpiece weight
• 8.27"/7.87" X/Y-axis travel
• 6.1" Z-axis travel
