Pacline to Run Live Paint Finishing Conveyor Demonstration at FABTECH 2026

Pacline, a manufacturer of overhead conveyor systems with more than 45 years of material handling experience, will exhibit at FABTECH 2026, October 21 to 23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth #10060.

Pacline's booth will feature a live, running demonstration built around two enclosed track conveyor loops configured for paint and finishing applications. Both loops are mounted on a single self-contained mobile stand with independent drives, so attendees can see the track, chain, carriers and rotators from every angle.

The compact PAC-LINE enclosed track loop runs in the standard slot-down position, carrying parts beneath the track. The layout includes a dip section where the track descends and returns to elevation, simulating applications such as dip coating. The dip is formed with tight-radius vertical curves that let Pacline route conveyors into and out of tanks efficiently, minimizing dip tank sizes.

·       The PAC-LINE handles 50 lbs. per pendant, or up to 100 lbs. on a load bar, with chain pendants on 6-inch centers for flexible carrier spacing. The enclosed track keeps overspray, dust and debris off the chain and bearing surfaces, reducing cleaning and extending chain life in paint environments.

·       The PAC-MAX in slot sideways orientation with a powered rotator. The heavy-duty loop runs side-loaded at low track height to demonstrate the configuration used on high-quality finishing lines. In this orientation, the cross-shaped track shields the chain from paint overspray while keeping any carrier drip away from finished surfaces. The low mounting height also puts parts at an ergonomic working level for load, unload and touch-up stations.

A powered sprocket rotator will turn parts continuously through the simulated spray zone, showing how cylindrical and irregular parts achieve even coverage in a single pass. The PAC-MAX carries 200 lbs. per pendant and 400 lbs. per load bar, and a single drive pulls up to 1,000 ft. of chain.

Carriers and rotators on display will represent options for operations, such as wheel and rim finishing, woodworking, propane and gas cylinder coating, and general automotive part finishing.

Why Configuration Matters

Between the two loops, the demonstration covers the range of processes a finishing line must handle. The slot-sideways PAC-MAX also offers a practical alternative to chain-on-edge and spindle conveyors.

Both Pacline systems use a bolted, modular track design that installs without welding, and rolled curves with no traction wheels, which helps eliminate the surging common in oven curves. Both handle process temperatures up to 600° F.

Pacline engineers will be at the booth to review potential projects, discuss conveyor solutions and answer questions on integrating conveyors with existing booths, ovens and washers.
