HEIDENHAIN Announces Vice President of Marketing

Gisbert Ledvon

HEIDENHAIN Corporation has announced the promotion of Gisbert Ledvon to Vice President of Marketing in North America.

With over 25 years of extensive corporate industrial machine business and marketing experience, Ledvon assumed this new position in January with Strategic MarCom responsibility for North America. For the last five years, he grew the TNC-OEM and end-user business and applications support. In this new role his responsibilities will expand to oversee all marketing activities for the entire HEIDENHAIN product line and served market segments. He will be supported by newly appointed Marketing Manager Sarah Moreau and her team.

Prior to joining HEIDENHAIN, Ledvon served as the director of business development for many years, as well as the applications manager prior to that, for GF Machining Solutions (formerly AgieCharmilles).

Born in Germany and beginning his professional training as an apprentice via the Tool and Die Vocational College in Olsberg, Germany, Ledvon has lived in the United States for 29 years now. He completed a business program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, IL, in 2009.

The HEIDENHAIN product line includes linear scales, rotary and angular encoders, digital readouts, digital length gauges, CNC controls and machine inspection equipment.
