Mitsui Seiki Celebrates 90 Years

Machine tool builder Mitsui Seiki recently celebrated the 90th anniversary of its founding with a formal dinner, speakers and entertainment in the Grand Ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Tokyo.

At the celebration in Tokyo, Tetsuji Okuda, President, welcomed the 250 guests in attendance. He was followed by Koichi Miyata, Chairman of the Board of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation; Akihiro Teramachi, CEO of THK Co. Ltd; Yoshiharu Inaba, President and CEO of FANUC Corporation; Yuji Nagao, President of Yamazen Corporation; and Osamu Shinohara, President of Mitsui & Co. Machine Tech Ltd.

Japanese jazz singer Yasuko Agawa performed at the event, and Seizo Kawabe, Senior Managing Director of Mitsui Seiki Kogyo, offered closing remarks.
