Hearing Safety in the Workplace

Southern Adrenaline has designed custom ear protection and communication solutions that provide a comfortable fit and feature a modern look. According to the company, the goal was to provide quality products that look as good as they feel to encourage consistent use.

"There are times when an employee may opt out of using the proper PPE due to discomfort. This can quickly lead to issues such as injuries, claims and fines," noted a company spokesperson. "However, if the product provides excellent protection and comfortable wear, employees will be more inclined to use them."

According to the company, in addition to eliminating injuries, this helps encourage a more positive workplace with staff that take pride in their job as well as their safety gear.

"This is where Southern Adrenaline comes into play. We make custom fit ear plugs and communication pieces that the staff will actually love to wear," said Ben Jones, President, Southern Adrenaline. "We provide a proper fitting ear plug that fits the same way every time, and is also reusable. With the reusability, you start to see savings down the road. No longer will you see disposable ear plugs all over the ground. No more trash, no more hearing loss and a better environment all around."
