Automation and Robotics Seminar

Designed for industry professionals in the industrial engineering and manufacturing sectors, FPE Automation will bring the latest in factory automation and controls, vision and robotics for a Process Improvement Seminar in Ottawa, IL. The seminar will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 9 AM - 4 PM at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Ottawa Starved Rock Area, 3000 Fairfield Ln, Ottawa, IL 61350.

"New innovations are transforming the workplace in unprecedented ways. Technology is making workplaces safer and operations more effective, while providing return on investment and improved quality," said a company spokesperson.

Industry experts will present cutting-edge products in the areas of machine controls, vision systems, industrial barcode and part identification. In the area of robotics, the day's agenda consists of topics including collaborative 6-axis robots, SCARA robots and autonomous mobile industrial robots.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the collaborative robots and mobile industrial robots in a hands-on environment.

The latest products from Cognex, Epson, Universal Robots, Omron, MiR (Mobile Industrial Robots), PHD Inc., Robotiq and OnRobot will be featured.

In addition, the seminar is designed to be interactive. The setting is relaxed and informal. Attendees will be invited and encouraged to discuss their own applications. The presenters will incorporate participants' real-life examples into the day's topics. Rather than speak hypothetically about the products, they will talk about how these innovations can benefit them directly in their work environment.

The seminar will feature:

  • Vision/I.D. - Machine vision systems and sensors for factory automation, barcode readers for industrial I.D.
  • Controls - HMI, PLC, safety and machine controls, all-in-one programming
  • Robotics - 6-axis collaborative and SCARA robots, as well as mobile autonomous industrial robots.

Visit www.fpeautomation.com/ottawa for event registration.

Lunch will be served. This event is limited to individuals currently working in manufacturing and not open to the general public. There is no cost to attend.
