Complete 3D Scanning and Reverse Engineering Solution

Verisurf 3D Scanning and Reverse Engineering Solution was used to reverse engineer the fender and flare on this highly customized Ford Bronco.

Verisurf Software, Inc. is offering a 3D scanning and reverse engineering solution bundle. The bundled offer follows the announcement of a distribution agreement between Verisurf and peel 3d, which names Verisurf as worldwide distributor for the complete line of peel 3D products.

The turn-key scanning and reverse engineering solution includes everything needed to quickly deploy the system. In addition, the peel 3D capture software now features integrated tools for direct transfer of captured measurement data to Verisurf software.

Features and benefits include:

  • Verisurf Scan Data and Reverse Engineering Suite with Quick Surface
  • Verisurf online training
  • Peel 2 3D handheld scanner
  • 1-year hardware warranty
  • Peel 2 and Verisurf installation and set-up video.

The Verisurf Scan Data Reverse Engineering Suite, included in the system, is part of the recently released Verisurf 2020, a measurement, inspection and reverse engineering software dedicated to Model-Based Definition (MBD) and built on a CAD/CAM platform. This enables greater compatibility, workflow integration and more complete end-to-end solutions.

"Verisurf customers will benefit from this easy-to-use 3D scanning and reverse engineering solution at a price point that is sure to please educational institutions and manufacturers alike," said Ernie Husted, President and CEO of Verisurf. "Our collaboration with peel 3d will continue our mission to helping our educational clients better teach 3D measurement technologies, and manufacturing customers to improve their overall efficiency."

"The peel 2 is the next-generation peel 3D scanner offering excellent price performance. With peel 2, users can tackle scanning jobs requiring greater measurement resolution, color capture, enhanced tracking and the power to handle more complex geometry. We are proud that Verisurf as a metrology market leader recognized the value that peel 3d brings to the table," said François Leclerc, Program Manager at peel 3d.
