L&L Machinery Industry manufactures large flat bed heavy-duty CNC lathes with spindle holes from 6" to 20" diameter and up to 394" in bed length, with features specifically designed for heavy industry.

"L&L's R&D team and experienced craftsmanship have developed the LL Series Ultra rigid CNC flat bed lathe designed to outperform slant bed turning centers without the price tags," said a company spokesperson. "It offers five hardened and ground boxed ways and is capable of handling maximum 11 ton work pieces. The new design offers a large work envelope with maximum 37.4" cutting diameter and 394" between centers plus 16" spindle bore. The LL Series caters to extra long and extra large work pieces that require heavy turning, threading and boring requirements."

The LL Series is equipped with 50 HP spindle motor with 4 step automatic transmission to provide power and torque. "The 12-station heavy duty turret and oversized tailstock provide the same versatility as the slant bed turning center. The LL Series also offers special boring attachment mounted on sub carriage to achieve the most difficult boring requirements. This versatile LL Series is the ideal solution for multiple applications from aerospace, utilities, oil & gas, marine and heavy equipment industries," said a company spokesperson.
