Mobile Application Offers Welding Resources

Lincoln Electric has introduced a mobile application designed to be a practical and time-saving tool for users to tap into the company's welding resources. According to the company, the Lincoln Library mobile application will provide welders of all skill levels with the most current welding and cutting information.
Lincoln Library allows users to browse Lincoln Electric's line of welding and cutting equipment on the go by downloading product catalogs and detailed specifications for use in product selection. Catalogs available at launch include the 2014 Equipment Catalog and the Alloy Products brochure. Within the app, users can reference the most up-to-date equipment and consumable specifications or shop for their next piece of welding gear.
The app's features include:
- Up-to-date product offerings from Lincoln Electric's product literature library.
- The ability to view any of the currently available catalogs or product literature offline, with no Internet connection required after the initial install.
- When connected to the Internet, the app will sync with Lincoln Electric's online database to retrieve updates so users have the most current information.
Lincoln Library is available for through the Apple iTunes App Store and is compatible with the Apple iPad and iPad Mini (Apple iOS Version 6.0 and up).
