Website Offers Information, Functionality and Interactivity to Manufacturers

Mazak Corporation recently launched a new North American website located at www.MazakUSA.com. It features company, product and applications information accessible within two clicks of arriving at the site, as well as enhanced functionality and interactive tools for manufacturers.

"Mazak understands the changing landscape of the industry and recognizes the need to provide new and forward-thinking resources and tools via the web," said Brian Papke, Pesident of Mazak Corporation. "Today's manufacturers are smarter, more agile and extremely discerning buyers, with ever more challenging applications - they need more and more information at their fingertips. Our new site gives them the resources they need to make good decisions with the click of a mouse, whether that is comparing different machine models or reaching out to a Mazak support expert."

According to the company, the site includes large amounts of product and specification information optimized with unique comparative analysis tools that allow manufacturers to evaluate and make decisions about the best machines for their specific needs.

The site also offers direct access to the Mazak expert Optimum Plus support team and resources, including online parts ordering with PartsWeb and online registration for all training and education activities. It also provides insight into the company's eight regional Technology Centers, and allows users to explore the benefits of these facilities with the Virtual Technology Center. New sharing tools allow users to interact in social media environments, watch videos as well as share information via email. News, videos, webinars and downloads are available on demand. A virtual tour of the Kentucky campus gives users a first-hand look at where many Mazak products are manufactured.

The site also features a new search tool that comprehensively scans all site content and categorizes results into three categories, making it easy for users to locate and identify information of interest to them.

Additional tools and resources will include a machine selector tool that will allow users to filter machine and technology information by specification, an enhanced Five Levels of Multi-Tasking selector tool and calculator, online credit applications as well as the addition of French Canadian and Spanish language versions of the site.
