Patti Engineering Opens Office in Tennessee

Patti Engineering, Inc., a provider of control system integration, has announced the opening of its fourth office in Chattanooga, TN, in order to meet the growing demand for control system integration expertise in Siemens Automation and Mitsubishi Electric technologies. "This move will expand Patti Engineering's ability to accommodate a growing client base, providing additional bandwidth for customer service and consultation," said a company spokesperson. "In evaluating potential cities for the company's expansion, Tennessee's robust industrial growth and favorable regulatory environment were strong draws to the state."

"Tennessee and the Southeast as a region have seen considerable manufacturing growth, including the industry sectors that Patti Engineering serves," said Sam Hoff, Chief Executive Officer of Patti Engineering. "Forbes ranks Tennessee as the 14th state in terms of business costs and fifth in terms of regulatory environment."

Patti Engineering's relationship with its partners, Siemens Automation and Mitsubishi Electric, were additional considerations in selecting Tennessee. Both partners encouraged the Chattanooga decision, noting a large and growing demand for expert control system integrators for each company's respective industrial automation technologies.

Patti Engineering's Senior Electrical Engineer, Joseph Palace, has been promoted to Director of Tennessee Operations and will be managing the office alongside Erik Pedersen, Business Development Manager with Patti Engineering. "Ron Robertson, a Chattanooga native and Siemens expert, started with Patti Engineering in early January," said the spokesperson. Patti Engineering's Michigan and Texas engineering staff will supplement its Tennessee team while the company continues to hire and train additional engineers.

"Although the physical office location opened recently, Patti Engineering has been serving clients in the Southeast for a number of years," said the spokesperson. "The company has completed automation projects ranging from automotive to textiles to even upgrading controls for the Chattanooga-based Tennessee Valley Authority's (TVA) Wilson Dam. As more manufacturers are turning to automation as a means to improve quality, productivity, safety, speed and competitiveness, Patti Engineering is now poised to assist manufacturers in this fast-growing manufacturing belt."
