KNUTH Machine Tools USA, a manufacturer and supplier of metalworking machinery offers a large portfolio of grinding equipment. This includes reciprocating surface, gantry-type surface, cylindrical, cutter-tool and belt / disk grinders.
"Leading the charge in KNUTH's grinding line-up is the new HFS-B VC series reciprocating surface grinder," said a company spokesperson. The B VC models come standard with a programmable Siemens PLC, magnetic clamping plate and coolant and exhaust system with complete particle filtration.
"With table sizes of 10 x 20 in. - 16 x 31 in., grinding wheel sizes from 8 - 14 in. diameter and spindle motors up to 7.5 HP, the B VC would be incomplete with anything less than the 0.0001 in. automatic incremental down feed that the B VC grinders perform to," said the spokesperson.
KNUTH also offers a wide variety of cylindrical grinders both manual and CNC controlled. "KNUTH puts its German engineers to work writing custom grinding parameters for the user-friendly Fagor 8055i CNC control," said the spokesperson. The Fagor 8055i control comes standard on the KNUTH RSM series grinders. The RSM grinders series range in part size capacities from 6 x 20 in. to 12 x 59 in.
