Midwest CAM Solutions Announces Change in Ownership

Midwest CAM Solutions (MWC), a GibbsCAM reseller in the Midwest, has announced a change in ownership. Don Casanova has purchased the business from Rick Meide, who founded it in 1992.

Casanova served as application and sales associate for two years at MWC before taking over the business as CEO. A previous job shop owner, Casanova has extensive manufacturing experience, specializing in multi-axis machines.

"I am pleased to be a part of a thriving business and to take this next step as owner of MWC. We look forward to continuing to grow the business and serve our amazing customers," said Casanova.

As part as of the reorganization of roles at MWC, they have also announced the hiring of Andy Bleck in the role of Account Manager. Bleck brings 20 years of sales and account management experience, including eight years in the manufacturing industry.

"I enjoy finding out what is important to manufacturers and addressing their pain points," said Bleck. "I am already familiar with GibbsCAM from a previous job, so I am able to get right to finding solutions and providing great service to our customers."
