O'Neal Industries Purchases Slice of Stainless

O'Neal Industries, Inc. (ONI), through its subsidiary United Performance Metals (UPM), has announced the acquisition of the assets of Slice of Stainless, headquartered in Cincinnati, OH.

Slice of Stainless offers small quantities of stainless steel and nickel alloys, sheared to exact specifications, to customers across the United States in industries such as aerospace, medical and manufacturing applications. Slice was founded over 25 years ago by Todd Reed and Robin Tackett to serve this niche market.

"I am excited that Slice of Stainless has become part of the O'Neal Industries Family of Companies. I am pleased that our employees, suppliers and customers can look forward to a stable foundation and continued attention to Slice's passionate customer service culture in the distant future," said Tackett.

Slice of Stainless will retain its strong brand name, operating at its current Cincinnati location, and with its own management and sales teams. Jim Schneible will remain General Manager of Slice of Stainless, reporting to Peter Neuberger, President and CEO of UPM.
