Colburn Manufacturing Announces Expansion

Colburn Manufacturing Company has announced the upcoming expansion of its manufacturing facility in Minneapolis, MN. This expansion will double the size of the current shop floor, increasing production and creating new jobs. The company machines custom parts for the medical, aerospace, electrical, fuel & gas, defense industries and more.

The family-owned company has grown every year since Scott Larson founded it in 1999 in a small garage. This next stage comes along with the announcement of Clint Larson becoming Vice President. Clint oversees the day-to-day operations while planning for the company's future.

"With demand increasing from our customers, we decided to invest more into the company and continue to grow alongside them. Our high quality precision parts set us apart from the competition. We are excited for this next stage," said Clint.

"I started Colburn Manufacturing because I saw the need for not only high-quality parts for customers but also a positive work environment with a culture that made employees feel valued and invested in the company for the long term. Our turnover rate has been very low, and our employees say they feel like part of the family," said Scott.

The expansion will allow space for more CNC Swiss and lathe machines, as well as space to add automation to current equipment. New machinists have already began training in preparation for the arrival of the new equipment.
