Joe Gorley
Jergens has announced that Joe Gorley will lead its comprehensive workholding solutions group, which comprises numerous components and fixtures designed for cycle time improvements. Gorley will be based out of the Cleveland headquarters and report to Omar Andino, Jergens National Sales Manager for workholding.
"Joe brings with him an extensive background in manufacturing and a can-do attitude, which is ideal for this position," said Andino. "He is a problem solver and a guy who creates a lot of momentum and team spirit."
Gorley's work experience spans more than 30 years and includes responsibilities in engineering, technical support, sales, P&L, project management, supply chain management and marketing. He is a proponent of lean manufacturing, with focus on risk management, problem solving and business analytics.
"This is a great opportunity for me, plus I feel like I am bringing my experience to the table for Jergens, so it is a win for both of us," said Gorley. "Team spirit is more than a catch phrase, especially here-we are going to bring it to solve customer challenges, and there is a lot of opportunity to do just that."
Prior to joining Jergens, Gorley worked for several industry players, including Tektronix and The Swagelok Company where he spent 25 years in various roles, from marketing to product and supplier management.
