The new XF2000 high precision 5-axis vertical machining center (VMC) from Hyundai WIA is designed for high-precision small-scale component cutting. The XF2000 produces small-size components often used in medical applications that must meet strict tolerances to comply with medical manufacturing standards.
The XF2000 is equipped with a rigid integrated column structure engineered for consistent and accurate metalcutting performance. The XF2000 is standard with a 40,000 RPM high-speed built-in spindle and a rapid traverse rate of 1,968 IPM, making this machine ideal for applications requiring accurate repeatability.
The XF2000 provides quick tool change time of 4.5 seconds chip-to-chip to reduce idle time and improve productivity in high-volume, high-precision machining applications. For enhanced production flexibility, the XF2000 features a 20 tool magazine as standard. The XF6300 version has a table size of 24.8" (630 mm) with a max. travel of 25.6"/23.6"/19.7" X/Y/Z, allowing more clearance for larger size projects. With a larger standard selection of tools and Hyundai's random tool selection method, tool change time is reduced.
